How To Get A Six Pack In 4 Easy Steps


A washboard stomach is the most aesthetically pleasing muscle group on the human body. If you think you need to be busting 1000 sit ups every day to churn out chizzled abs you'd be wrong. This is the misconception most people have. We can't enlarge our abdominal muscles like our biceps. So doing infinite amount of sits ups is not going to get you a six pack. A six pack is achieved by reducing our body fat. How many people have you seen with a 40" waist and a six pack? Reducing our body fat is easier than you think, you can create a whole new life whilst your it. Your mindset is key to achieving a six pack so remember constant action produces results. Here's how you achieve a toned mid section in 4 simple steps.

1. Eat little and often - Set yourself out 6 smalls for the day. Eating little and often fires up our metabolism and burning calories throughout the day. Cut out the junk food too, you got to be serious about achieving a six pack. Starving yourself defeats the object too, so do not be tempted to do that either. Increase your water intake by consuming at least 2 litres a day. I could fill this article up just by giving the benefits of water. Consume more protein, this helps our body build muscle and also burn more calories when we're idle. You can get your protein source from meat such a Chicken, Tuna and Turkey. An easy way to increase your protein is with a protein shake such a Whey Protein.

2. Compound exercises - These are exercises that use the whole of your body and burn immense amounts calories. Squats are great for this. You don't need to be lifting heavy weights for Squats to effect. Try doing 15 now with your arms in front of you. Use your own bodyweight for your muscle-building exercise. You don't need a fancy gym to get in shape.

3. Cardio - Don't be a fool to think you don't need to do cardio exercises. I understand though, cardio is boring, if you let it. You don't need to do hour sessions on a treadmill to burn fat, make your cardio enjoyable by doing something you love. Buy a bike, go swimming, start dancing, play football, if you like to run go outside this will get you doing your cardio as you'll enjoy it. The best time to do your cardio first thing in the morning.

4. Stick with it - The reason most people fail is because they quit. You can see results in as little as 30 days. How long is that? It's no time at all. Set yourself a goal and stick for 30 days. You will be amazed at how much you will achieve in such a short space of time. You'll also get yourself in to a routine making it easier to stick with it.
